Restaurants:
Hudson’s Hamburger: Established in 1907, this hamburger joint is nothing short of special. They take simplifying greatness to the next level. You can enjoy two things here—burgers and pie. This small diner is packed to the brim from open to close but is worth the wait. Don’t forget your cash because they do not accept cards!
Fisherman’s Market & Grill: If you are a seafood lover, this is a must go. Only a few minutes from downtown CDA, this is by far the couples favorite lunch spot. They have the freshest seafood in town as well as the best French fries.
Beverly’s: Located on the 7th floor of the CDA Resort, this is classic fine dining with a Northwest flair. The view, the food, and wine are incredible. The couple recommends at least stopping by for a decadent dessert.
Activities:
Stroll Sherman Ave: CDA’s claim to fame is the quaint, adorable downtown. Sherman avenue has everything from escape rooms to biker bars. Take a stroll, have an ice cream, and do a little shopping. The couple hopes you leave with a classic CDA souvenir.
Hike Tubbs Hill: This easy hike is perfect for the outdoorsy type. The hike has beautiful views of the lake and can be accessed from the CDA Resort.
Spa Day: The CDA Resort Spa is one of the best in the world. The bride loves to enjoy her yearly spa day with her mom because of the cozy atmosphere in the co-ed lounge. She recommends checking out the Summer Specials!
Golfing: There are plenty of places to golf in and around CDA. The famous “Floating Green” is part of the CDA Resort Golf Course. There are also other great courses such as Circling Raven, Avondale, and The Highlands.
On the Lake
Bars, activities, and more!
Bars & restaurants:
Tony’s On The Lake: This delicious Italian restaurant is where the couple went to dinner before Ben proposed to Kinley. It is one of their favorite places in town & on the lake. You can access this place both by car or by boat. The bride recommends getting the house pulled mozzarella!
Cedars Floating Restaurant: Just as it sounds, this restaurant is floating on the water. It opened in 1965 and is a CDA staple.
By Boat: If you have the opportunity to access the lake via boat, the couple recommends bars and restaurants such as—Carlin Bay, Shooters, and One Shot Charlies. Each of these places hold a special place in their hearts and are unique in their own ways. They don’t want to give too much away, wouldn’t want to spoil the fun!
Activities:
Parasailing: The bride is afraid of heights but has been parasailing in CDA multiple times and says it is the most peaceful experience.
Coeur d’Alene Watersports: Right next to the CDA Resort there is a public beach where residents swim and play. There, you can rent paddle boards, paddle boats, and more!
Tubbs Hill Cliff Jumping: If you are brave enough, take one from the locals and jump off the Tubbs Hill Rocks.
